Studio time

We work instinctually, responding to each other’s marks, moving around the canvas in a sort of dance. The work is spontaneous and organic presenting its own narratives intertwined with our shared philosophies, in a constant state of flux, mirroring the processes used to create it. Our goal is to step aside from the individual and the ego, to arrive beyond culture and gender, in an attempt to operate as one mind. Trust plays an important role in our collaboration, as we trust the other to have the work as the highest priority, and all decisions made reflect this.

The intention behind our work is to promote the idea of connectivity and cooperation, in a world where secularism and division is promoted. We believe that sharing the making of the art with another, along with sharing the art that’s made with others, is where the true value of art lies. Through our work, we are attempting to engage the public to project their own subconscious into the work. The work then becomes a part of them, an opportunity to explore their own inner-landscapes and emotions, connecting them to something bigger.
